Hello,
Nice article explaining steganography in simple language. But there is one mistake, I would like to throw light upon.
Steganography with LSB substitution is method in spatial domain. In frequency domain, transform techniques are used. Out of which, DCT is one method. DCT is DISCRETE Cosine Transform, not Direct Cosine Transform. There are several other approaches like DFT (Discrete Fourier Transform), Wavelet Transform for steganography in frequency domain.

Thank you.

If you want in-depth information and practical examples of applied Steganography on all kinds of files, check Corinna John's Articles on Codeproject. They have helped me a lot.
